My addiction started when I was 15-16 with alcohol. Later on in young adulthood it was prescription drugs and alcohol. This went on for years. I was always looking for acceptance in worldly things. Never did I turn to Jesus. At 27 I overdosed. I never thought that an overdose would be the very thing that turned me to my Lord and savior. The overdose landed me at Friends of Sinners where I was welcomed with open arms and love. Going threw the program I accepted Jesus Christ. And learned how to forgive myself and others. I recently married my best friend and life has never been so good. All the glory to God.
